Unbridled Rehabilitation Updates Fall 2020

What a year 2020 has been so far!

We want you to know that we are here for you in whatever way we can show up. In light of schools returning in virtual capacities for the first semester, we have some new modes of support coming your way.

We continue to offer hybrid services for Occupational therapy, Physical therapy, and Speech therapy in a variety of ways including televisits, office visits, home visits, and community-based programs.

Hippotherapy Break

Sept 1-5, 2020 This is a reminder for all that next week, Sept 1-5, there will be no mounted sessions for farm visits. We schedule these breaks 3 times a year to help ensure our horses continue to be happy and healthy in doing their jobs as a therapy partner. Each of our horses are hard workers and so very giving of themselves throughout the year. We are grateful to have such an amazing group of equine partners to work with in our program.

Note: This should not impact your regularly scheduled visits. We encourage you to keep your farm visit this week if possible, as we will take the opportunity to work with the kids on learning about their therapy partners in other ways such as how to care for, lead, and interact with them on the ground. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to your therapist.

School schedules:

Please speak with your therapist this week to confirm scheduling for the school year and make sure you are scheduled appropriately to keep the recommended frequency with your plan of care. Call the office or email us for any scheduling changes or updates.

Our team is growing!

We are in the process of making our physical therapy and speech therapy services more available to provide for all your therapy needs. Updates on that will be coming out within the next few weeks as we on-board and orient new team members with URS.

Personal therapy. Powerful results.

We stand by this model. It is our privilege to serve each of you–our patients and their families– in whatever way we can to support growth, wellbeing, and a thriving community. We believe this is still possible despite the more complicating factors of the pandemic and a fast-approaching school year.

In an effort to meet the growing needs of our community, here is how we hope to serve you in addition to your regular individual therapy services this school year.
