Raising the Roof!

TRRC is renovating the playground and the surrounding hill area next to the new indoor arena! This unique sensory friendly environment will tout various interactive games along a walking trail, new playground equipment, bike training path, and raised garden beds. The renovated hay shed will include interactive stations for riders to engage their senses while waiting for therapy sessions and a large patio with seating for parents/caregivers to sit and watch outdoor therapy sessions. TRRC is continuing fundraising efforts for the beautiful new therapy arena, playground and grounds. If you are interested in supporting these projects please contact Gretchen at trrcplayground@gmail.com.

Let’s give Erin a warm URS welcome!

Erin Wright is an occupational therapy student who has been with Unbridled Rehab since January and will continue her internship until the end of March. She is an occupational therapy assistant who has worked in the private school setting and decided to pursue a Master’s degree at a college in Charlotte, North Carolina.

She is working under Alysa’s supervision, but she will be also assisting with therapy sessions under Katie, April, Loretta, and Abigail. She has experience with sidewalking at Maryland Therapeutic Riding and has taken the Level I Principles in Hippotherapy Treatment course.

 We’re Expanding!

URS is expanding their services to offer home health opportunities.

We are opening opportunities for 1:1 occupational and physical therapy in the home setting.  Please contact us about scheduling therapy services in the comfort of your home, allowing us to work closely in the immediate environment you and your family live and play in.

Looking to work with horses AND children with special needs in a community-based therapy setting?

Unbridled Rehabilitation Services is looking for individuals who are interested in being part of our therapy team to use equine movement during physical, occupational, and speech therapy sessions.

Stay active and appreciated while learning a new skill in a unique environment where horses can help create positive interventions in the treatment of a large variety of health challenges. For more information, check out: www.unbridledrehab.com/volunteer
