Fall Reminders!

– Fall Term ends December 16th!Sign-ups for Spring Term 2019 (which runs 4/1/19 – 6/22/19) will begin December 17th!

– Weather Reminders! Just a reminder for Hippotherapy about our unpredictable Maryland Weather – if it is raining, we can still do therapy activities indoors!

However, if there is thunder or lightning (even if there is no rain) all riders must dismount until 15 minutes without thunder have passed at the discretion of your therapist. As we begin to experience cooler weather, please remember to dress appropriately – layers are always a good idea!

– Attendance Policy Reminder! While we understand that illness and family emergencies do arise, prompt and regular attendance to scheduled therapy visits is critical in order to get the best results for your child. Please take a moment to read our full attendance policy!

Looking for Volunteers!

Our non-profit partner barns are looking for skilled horse handlers and support for day-time and weekend sessions. Starting up services at our Thurmont location again in November!

If you’re interested, please contact our volunteer coordinator!

Fall Activity!

These little pumpkin boats are the perfect way to spend a warmer fall day outside or even a cold fall day – just inside in the bathtub! Its also a great way to re-use the tiny pumpkins before they go bad!

Check out this fun fall activity!
