Our Strider bike program offers an opportunity to promote bike riding readiness with the use of pedal–less bikes called balance bikes. Students learn to recruit core muscles and practice bi-manual strength and coordination for bike riding skills. Appropriate for ages 3- 18.
Strider balance bikes are industry-leading training bikes that help riders from 18 months up to adults master the fundamentals of balancing, leaning, and steering without the distractions and complications of pedals or training wheels. Strider’s simple, no-pedal design builds confidence and eliminates fear by allowing individuals to have their feet on the ground and progress at their own pace—thus avoiding developmental delays typical with tricycles and training wheel bikes.
Through the use of games and obstacles, participants gain confidence and independence on these unique training bikes. Our programming includes 4 one hour sessions for our regularly scheduled programs; however, custom sessions can be created for your needs. (e.g. Travel to local schools, family support group, Bike Camp 1 Hour Demonstrations, and more)
